Consider UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier a fan of NXT’s Creed Brothers.
It’s not just Cormier either, a lot of the NXT Universe in Orlando are also fans of the duo. Formerly a member of the Diamond Mine faction and previously having a run as NXT Tag Team Champions, the Creed Brothers always manage to get a reaction from the crowd when they step into the squared circle, and Cormier being the latest example, it isn’t just the Sunshine State feeling the vibes of the tag team.
Recently appearing on “The Masked Man Show” for an interview, Daniel Cormier spoke about experience at WWE’s Extreme Rules Premium Live Event as a special guest referee in Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins’ Fight Pit Match. While talking about WWE as a company, hosts Kaz and David Shoemaker brought up the Creed Brothers and how great they’ve been in recent history. Daniel Cormier agreed, however, he would particularly have a focus on Julius Creed.
“[Julius] is going to be a main event player at some point. And I’m not taking anything away from his brother, but look at him. You look at him and see he’s got that thing. He’s big, in phenomenal shape, and can do anything in the ring … He’s going to be a future champion.”
