CM Punk Potential Injury Update

CM Punk speaking to crowd

Another update on the CM Punk situation has been unveiled.

Unless you’ve been somewhere under a rock over the past 48-hours, AEW World Champion CM Punk set the professional world ablaze following AEW’s All Out pay-per-view, Sunday night. The newly crowned champion took part in the event’s post-show press scrum and wasted no time in getting his point across. Punk immediately opened the presser aiming comments toward former friend and ROH colleague Colt Cabana, whom Punk says he has no doing when it comes to Cabana’s recently diminished role in All Elite Wrestling. Punk would then turn his attention to the company’s top stars, Adam Page, Kenny Omega, and Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks.

Following the scrum, Punk was reportedly involved in a physical altercation with the aforementioned members of The Elite as well as Punk’s close friend and AEW producer, Ace Steel.

In an update provided by Fightful Select, during the rumored spat, Steel reportedly launched a chair in Nick Jackson’s direction and Punk apparently aggravated an injury to his triceps.

While it’s clear to see where Punk, Omega, The Bucks, and Ace Steel’s allegiances lay, some other members of the AEW locker room have chimed in on the altercation, and those comments can be found by clicking here.

TJR will provide any updates to the ongoing situation between CM Punk, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks as they become available.
