Chris Jericho Confesses To Breaking The Law

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is one of the most popular names in the wrestling world.

According to recent reports, Y2J is WWE-bound, but it is still unclear when he might make his return to the Stamford-based promotion.

While the WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for Jericho to return to WWE, he recently sat down with Spencer Matthews on the UNTAPPED podcast, where he talked about his wrestling career, biggest rivalries, and the craziest stories from his time in the business.

During the conversation, Chris Jericho discussed how he felt after becoming popular in wrestling. He revealed that once he became successful, he let it get to his head.

Chris Jericho Admits Fame Went To His Head After Becoming A Top Wrestling Star

Chris Jericho gave an example, stating that whenever there was a show at Madison Square Garden, and he was running late, he would sometimes drive the wrong way to save time and reach the venue sooner. He admitted that he believed the police would not charge him if he got pulled over because of his fame.

The Demo God acknowledged that he used his popularity to break the law and admitted that it was very wrong.

“It never really got into my head, but you do feel a little different at that point in time. Like some certain rules don’t apply as much. Whenever we had shows in Madison Square Garden, for example, if I was late, I would drive the wrong way down a one-way street because it cuts time off to get to the garden.

I knew it doesn’t matter if I get pulled over because the cops will know, ‘Oh, it’s Chris Jericho going into the garden, go right through.’ So, you do kind of think, ‘It’s fine, I’ll just go. It’s only a block. I’ll drive wrong way.’ But it’s not a good way to be, but it just kind of gets into your head that way. It’s like, that’s fine.”
