Brock Lesnar Reportedly Went Off-Script At Elimination Chamber

A new report has claimed that WWE Champion Brock Lesnar went off-script on his way to capturing the gold at Elimination Chamber.

Brock Lesnar entered the men’s Elimination Chamber looking to recapture the WWE Championship he lost to Bobby Lashley at the Royal Rumble in January.

Following the end of his reign that night, Lesnar didn’t wallow in his loss and instead entered the men’s Rumble match and outlasted the rest of the field to secure his place in the fifth WrestleMania main event of his career.

On the Raw following the event, ‘The Conqueror’ announced he was planning on challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal Title on ‘The Grandest Stage Of Them All’, but before that, he wanted to make sure he entered that match with some gold of his own.

Brock Lesnar joined AJ Styles, Riddle, Austin Theory, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, and reigning WWE Champion Bobby Lashley inside the Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia.

During the match, Lashley was taken out after Seth Rollins sent Austin Theory crashing through ‘The All Mighty’s pod. Michael Cole then informed viewers that Lashley had entered concussion protocols so couldn’t return to the bout, guaranteeing a new WWE Champion by the end of the night.

As the time expired for the second last pod to open, Lashley’s now empty pod was selected, leaving Brock Lesnar as the only competitor in the bout still caged. Not wanting to be left out for long, Lesnar smashed through the plexiglass and joined the chaos in the ring. Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that this was not a planned spot in the match.

After entering the ring, Lesnar quickly eliminated Rollins, Riddle, and Styles before throwing Austin Theory from the top of a pod with a huge F5 to win the WWE Championship.

WWE has since confirmed that the main event of WrestleMania which will see Brock Lesnar clash with Roman Reigns once again will be in ‘winner take all’ with both the WWE and Universal Championships up for grabs.
