What Bray Wyatt Is Telling People About WWE Future

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt has been out of action since February 2023, missing out on WrestleMania 39 despite a planned program with Bobby Lashley for the Los Angeles show.

That program was abandoned after one interaction between the two men on television with Lashley relegated to winning the Andre The Giant Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania 39.

Wyatt’s status with the company has been the subject of much speculation ever since but the newest report on the former WWE Champion suggests he’s looking forward to getting back to the ring.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has noted that Bray Wyatt was still fighting an illness over WrestleMania weekend but the star himself is “excited” about coming back when he can:

The report noted, “Bray Wyatt was overcoming an illness as of WrestleMania weekend, and wasn’t in the creative plans. However, he’s told people close to him he’s excited to make his way back whenever he’s able.”

Bray Wyatt has only competed in one televised match in WWE since he returned to the company at Extreme Rules in October 2022. That came at the 2023 Royal Rumble when he defeated LA Knight in a unique Pitch Black bout. That was his first match in the company since WrestleMania 37 when he was defeated by Randy Orton.
