Becky Lynch Finally Reveals True Reason For WWE Departure In 2024

Becky Lynch has been one of the top-performing superstars on the female roster.

She is currently a two-time Women’s Intercontinental Champion, and has been working on various feuds and storylines to push the mid-card title.

Up until the latest episode of WWE RAW, she was in a feud with Maxxine Dupri. However, Natalya turned on the challenger on RAW, costing Dupri the title. It is yet to be seen what happens next.

Becky Lynch had taken a long break in 2024 due to a personal reason

Back in May 2024, The Man’s contract had expired. Following that, she took quite a lengthy break from WWE before returning to television as Lyra Valkyria’s tag team partner at WrestleMania 41.

During WWE: Unreal Season 2 Episode 1, Lynch revealed that she needed to take a break in 2024 after going full throttle for a while. However, the bigger reason was her daughter, Roux. She explained that she had been away from her young daughter for a while and felt the resentment in Roux when she would return home.

2024 was a year where I was pretty burnt out, and I said, ‘Okay, I think this is a good pause.’ I had been going full throttle since I came back after having my daughter. I love WWE, but I was away from her quite a bit. I felt like when I came back home, she was mad at me, and I hated that. [H/t: Ringside News]

After the break, The Man returned as Valkyria’s partner, was revealed as Bayley’s mystery attacker, and went on to pursue the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
