The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships have been around the waist of Babes of Wrath ever since they won the tournament to become the inaugural champions.

Since winning the belts, they’ve defended them multiple times against various opposition and have been feuding with the Sisters of Sin as well. Tonight, they were scheduled for another match with title implications.

They faced off against the team of Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford, who have been competing as Megabad ever since Ford made her long-awaited return from injury.

Megabad picked up a huge win on AEW Dynamite

The two teams put on an entertaining show for the fans tonight as they were treated to plenty of action. Both teams pushed each other to the edge as Megabad emerged victorious.

They competed against the Babes of Wrath in a Championship Eliminator match, and a win for them tonight saw them become the number one contenders for the Women’s World Tag Team Championship.
