AJ Styles Reportedly Out Of Action With “Non-Injury Medical Issue”

AJ Styles poses in the ring

AJ Styles has been missing from WWE programming due to a “non-injury medical issue,” according to reports.

Styles hasn’t appeared on Raw for several weeks, with his most recent appearance being at Crown Jewel. At the Saudi Arabian event, Styles and his regular tag partner, the colossal Omos, were unsuccessful in their attempt to recapture the Raw Tag Team Championships from RK-Bro – Randy Orton and Riddle.

Since then, Omos has been on his own, most recently making an appearance on the latest episode of Raw where he made his way to the ring during a match between The Street Profits vs. The Dirty Dawgs. The distraction allowed Dolph Ziggler to get the win for his team.

After the match ended, Omos threw Montez Ford over a barricade at ringside and proceeded to stare down Orton and Riddle, who had been guest commentators for the bout.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an update on the status of AJ Styles, saying that he is being kept away from the ring by a “non-injury medical issue.”

“AJ’s got a non-injury medical issue is what I was told. I’m sure that he’s gonna yell and scream at some point about it but that is what they said, a non-injury medical issue.”

While there has been no word on when ‘The Phenomenal One’ will return to action, Omos’ actions show that the duo still have unfinished business with RK-Bro when he does make his comeback.
