With WWE Elimination Chamber now officially in the history books, the Road to WrestleMania is officially heating up as the night saw an amazing Premium Live Event take place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

The event saw multiple huge moments take place at the show, including the return of former WWE Champion Seth Rollins. However, none of them was as close to the fans as the one involving AJ Lee.

The Crazy Chick wrestled her first singles match in WWE in over a decade tonight as she defeated Becky Lynch to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

Following the conclusion of the show, AJ Lee made an appearance at the post-show conference, where she was reunited with former stablemate Big E.

She broke the silence on her first championship win in twelve years as she revealed her real emotions after becoming the Women’s Intercontinental Champion for the first time in history.

Amazing. It feels right to have done this in Chicago. I don’t know if you guys remember, but my first title, the Divas Title, was won here in Chicago.” AJ said.

She was then asked about how she felt after tapping Becky Lynch out for the third time since making her return to the promotion. Lee revealed that it felt like the longest moment of her life.

So good. Surreal. I felt like it took forever to get her to actually tap. It was the longest moment of my life, just waiting to see if she would give up, and she did. And it’s surreal to 11 years later be a champion again.” AJ Lee said.

The former Divas champion got the last laugh once again tonight and made it a trifecta of victories against The Man. However, it feels that this rivalry is far from over, with a rematch between the two expected at WrestleMania 42.
