AEW Faction Is No More Due To Hate From Wrestling “Experts”

AEW

Since the company’s inception in 2019, AEW has not been shy about its use of factions but now one of the longest-running groups has split and QT Marshall is not happy about it.

QT Marshall was a close associate of Cody Rhodes both on and off-screen in the early days of AEW as a fully-fledged member of the Nightmare Family. However, in March 2021, Marshall broke away from the group, turning on Rhodes and taking Anthony Ogogo, Nick Comoroto, and Aaron Solo with him to form The Factory.

The group’s highest-profile match came when former boxing star Ogogo took on Cody Rhodes in an unusually nationalistic bout at Double Or Nothing in May 2021. The group spent most of its time on AEW’s YouTube shows Dark and Elevation and eventually added Cole Karter to their ranks but now it looks like time is up for The Factory.

Taking to social media, QT Marshall noted the group did some fun things but ultimately they have gone their separate ways:

“We did some fun stuff. Unfortunately, the amount of Factory hate from the “experts” in wrestling was too much and the group had to disband. But keep your eyes on @BigShottyLee @realcolekarter @AaronSoloAEW @Mr_Freakbeast”

The Factory last competed on AEW television at Winter Is Coming in December 2022 when Marshall, Cole Karter, and Aaron Solo lost to The House of Black in just 26 seconds.
