It was announced today by All Elite Wrestling that their second pay-per-view event of 2020 will be called Double or Nothing at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 23rd. It’s the same city and venue as last year’s first AEW PPV called Double or Nothing. This news revealed by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated earlier today.

Tickets for Double or Nothing go on sale on Friday, February 14. Go to AEWTIX.com for more info.

AEW President Tony Khan commented on AEW’s success so far and running Double or Nothing 2020 this year.

“Last May, we sparked a revolution with our inaugural Double or Nothing pay-per-view event in Las Vegas. Double or Nothing rocked the wrestling industry and led to Wednesday Night Dynamite, a top-rated weekly show on TNT reaching millions of viewers worldwide, and over 140,000 live event tickets sold to date.”

“It’s been an incredible run, and only fitting that we return to Las Vegas to celebrate our one year anniversary with AEW’s marquee event. On Saturday, May 23, Double or Nothing is back for round two at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Last year’s event changed the world of wrestling, and this year the stakes will be even higher.”

The next AEW PPV is called Revolution on Saturday, February 29 and that’s in Chicago.

It has been reported previously that AEW plans to run Double or Nothing every May in Las Vegas around Memorial Day weekend and AEW All Out around Labor Day weekend in Chicago in early September every year. They only plan on running four pay-per-views per year, so the other two will be February 29 this year and probably another November PPV like last year.
