WWE: Brock Lesnar’s In-Ring Return Revealed

TJR Wrestling

The Forum in Inglewood, California announced this week that the WWE will make its return to the arena on Saturday, December 19. This will be the WWE’s first time performing at The Forum in over two decades. There has been some confusion though as to which WWE Superstars will be wrestling that night. The Forum’s website and social media accounts are sharing a photo for the event that features Seth Rollins, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar. However, the description for the show does not include John Cena and Brock Lesnar to the names of wrestlers who are scheduled for the show. The wrestlers currently listed for this event include: Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, The Dudley Boys, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, The Miz, Ryback, and the WWE Divas.

Although WWE.com does not have him listed for the December 19 event, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Lesnar will in fact be wrestling on the show. Along with the Beast in the East July 4th show and the Live MSG show, this will mark Lesnar’s third non-PPV match this year.

The following comes from The Forum’s Twitter account and is their advertisement for the upcoming event:

Mark’s reaction:

Any time I get to see more Brock Lesnar wrestling inside WWE’s squared circle, I’m going to be happy. This is good news. It is not yet known if this event from The Forum will be another WWE Network special or not, but I have to assume that it will be. I’ve really been enjoying these exclusive WWE Network specials and including Brock just makes sense. Advertising Lesnar is a way for them to try and boost network subscriber numbers before the end of the year. Streaming live events with Lesnar advertised for it is a formula they are going back to now for a third time, so they must be having some success with it.

I just hope it’s not much of a squash match for Lesnar and we get to see him compete for about 10-20 minutes. He’s not listed for the event yet but I’d love to see him wrestle Cesaro. If the WWE never plans on having them face off on a grander stage, they why not let it happen during one these special WWE Network live events? It would make a lot of people very happy.

Who would you like to see Lesnar square off against at this December 19 event from The Forum? If it’s on the WWE Network, will you be looking forward to it or do you not care for these network specials? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
