A new WWE star is still waiting to make their debut.

On the eve of WrestleMania 40, it was reported that Jacob Fatu had signed with WWE. Fatu is believed to have told those close to him that a deal is done, and further reports have indicated that he’s now a WWE Superstar.

Fatu is a cousin of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and The Usos and became a free agent back in February. It’s expected that the star will join the chaos in The Bloodline when he debuts and it’s been reported that Jacob Fatu could appear as soon as April 26th. However, according to a new update he might have to wait a little while longer.

As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Fatu isn’t expected to appear on this week’s TV tapings, but there are plans in place for the star. Despite this, there’s said to be no rush on getting Fatu on television.

WWE Draft Rules Confirmed

Meanwhile, WWE has announced the rules for the 2024 Draft. The most interesting point is that champions won’t be switching brands, apart from the Women’s Tag Team Champions who remain eligible.

  • SmackDown will have four rounds, 16 total picks
  • Raw will have six rounds and 24 total picks
  • Champions on each brand are protected
  • Women’s Tag Team Champions (Asuka & Kairi Sane) are eligible
  • SmackDown will pick first on Friday
  • Raw will pick first on Monday
  • Rosters lock on May 6th

In a further post, WWE revealed the draft pools for each night but stopped short of naming which NXT Superstars will be eligible.
