Booker T Wants WWE Star To Remain In NXT

It’s already been reported that Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes are heading to Raw or SmackDown, and many fans wanted to see Trick Williams join them. However, his NXT Title win over Dragunov appears to have confirmed that won’t be happening.

Speaking in a recent interview, Booker T said it would be best for Trick Williams to stay in NXT a little longer to hone his craft. Although that’s not to say the WWE Hall of Famer isn’t high on Williams’ potential. Booker called the new champion a “generational talent,” and tipped him to be a huge star with more experience under his belt.
