1995 – In the one and only singles match between ‘Stunning’ Steve Austin and ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, the two fought as part of a tournament for the vacant United States Championship at a WCW Saturday Night taping in Atlanta, Georgia. Savage was victorious in the bout.

1996 – At ECW’s ‘A Matter Of Respect’ event from the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Shane Douglas defeated 2 Cold Scorpio to win the ECW World Television Championship.

1997 – WWE’s ‘In Your House: A Cold Day In Hell’ PPV took place at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. In the main event, The Undertaker defeated ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin to retain the WWF Championship.

2008 – TNA’s Sacrifice PPV took place at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. The show featured a tournament to crown new World Tag Team Champions after Kaz and Super Eric were stripped of the titles. The tournament was won by the Latin American Xchange (Homicide & Hernandez) who beat Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) in the final. The main event was Samoa Joe retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Scott Steiner and Kaz in a three way match. Kaz was part of the match in place of Kurt Angle who withdrew at the start of the PPV with a neck injury. He confirmed his place in the match by winning a Thunderdome multi-man cage match earlier on the show.

2013 – Japanese wrestling legend Kenta Kobashi officially retired from in-ring competition.

2015 – Ring of Honour and NJPW co-promoted ‘War Of The Worlds Night 1’ at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (The old ECW Arena). The main event saw Kazuchika Okada and Shinsuke Nakamura defeat Jay and Mark Briscoe.

2015 – Due to injury, Daniel Bryan officially vacated the Intercontinental Championship that he had won in an eight-man ladder match at WrestleMania 31 earlier that year.

2018 – RevPro ‘Epic Encounter 2018’ took place at York Hall in London, England. The main event saw Tomohiro Ishii retain the RevPro British Heavyweight Title against Keith Lee. Earlier on the card, David Starr defeated Kurtis Chapman to win theRevPro British Cruiserweight Title.

2018 – During a taping for ITV’s WOS Wrestling at Epic Studios in Norwich, England, the WOS Tag Team Championship changed hands when Kip Sabian and Iestyn Rees beat Adam Maxted and Nathan Cruz.

2019 – Mexican legend Silver King passed away after a heart attack suffered during a match against Juventud Guerrera in Camden Town, London, England. He was 51 years old.

2019 – The DeltaPlex Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan played host to ‘War Of The Worlds Night 3” co-promoted by Ring Of Honor and NJPW. The main event saw a ten-man tag team match that saw Hirooki Goto, Jay Lethal, Jeff Cobb, Yuji Nagata and Satoshi Kojima defeat Bully Ray, Mark Briscoe, Jay Briscoe, Silas Young and Shane Taylor.
