We look back at some of the significant events in wrestling history from August 11th which included The Heartbreak Kid taking out an insurance policy, and a birthday celebration fit for a hulk.

1997 – On Raw Shawn Michaels returned to in-ring action against Mankind, and revealed his new insurance policy to be the returning Ravishing Rick Rude. Also on the show, The Nation of Domination revealed Rocky Maivia as its newest member.

2003 – Raw Co-General Manager Eric Bischoff is forced to face the recently unmasked Kane one-on-one. And Goldberg takes on ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair in the main event.

2014 – WWE hosted a special birthday celebration for Hulk Hogan on Raw. Paul Heyman gloats on behalf of his client Brock Lesnar ahead of his title match against John Cena at Summerslam. Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt have words, Stephanie McMahon gets revenge on Brie Bella, and Randy Orton battles Sheamus.

2019 – Bray Wyatt new alter ego ‘The Fiend’ made his in-ring debut at Summerslam against Finn Balor, and Seth Rollins regained the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar.
