This is a look at WWE’s Monday Night Raw Moments of 2022 as listed by WWE featuring Kevin Owens, RK-Bro, Braun Strowman and more.

It’s a list that was posted on WWE’s Youtube channel on December 25. All of these moments happened on Raw obviously. I will post the video at the bottom.

10. Judgment Day Kicks Out Edge

Edge formed The Judgment Day after WrestleMania 38 with Damian Priest as the first wrestler to join followed by Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor. However, Edge didn’t know that he would be taken out by the three wrestlers in the group. Dominik Mysterio was added to the group in September while Edge is still seeking revenge for this attack. This was on June 6th.

9. Double Commitment Ceremony Madness

It was 24/7 Title comedy when Dana Brooke “married” Reggie while Tamina “married” Akira Tozawa with R-Truth presiding over the ceremony. The couples kissed and Reggie pinned Brooke to win the 24/7 Title. That was followed by Tamina, Tozawa and Brooke all winning the 24/7 Title in the segment. The 24/7 is gone now. I don’t miss it.

8. Dexter Lumis Kidnaps The Miz

The Miz was in a match when he kicked AJ Styles while he was on the floor. That led to Dexter Lumis appearing behind Miz and pulling him into the crowd. We would later learn that Miz paid Lumis to do this, but then Miz stopped paying Lumis and they would have issues for months after this. It was a unique way to bring Lumis to the main roster. This was at Raw in Toronto on August 22nd.

7. Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley Brawl

It was an intense rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley leading to their big match at Crown Jewel. Lesnar was the aggressor early, but Lashley managed to Spear Lesnar through the barricade and give Lesnar a spinebuster through the commentary table. It was a great segment.

6. Austin Theory Wins The U.S. Title

There were not many men’s singles title changes on Raw, so Austin Theory winning the US Title from Finn Balor made the list. Theory won clean with the A-Town Down finishing move where he drove Balor’s face into his knee. They did not show Theory’s celebratory selfie with Vince McMahon after the win. This was the first of Theory’s US Title wins in 2022, but this was the only one on Raw.

5. Bianca Belair Cuts Becky Lynch’s Hair

On the road to WrestleMania 38, things got personal between Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair. That led to a moment on Raw where Belair cut some of Lynch’s hair. Lynch would come back with a shorter haircut, which was fine, but at least cutting a person’s hair does make a rivalry feel more intense.

4. Rollins Takes Out Cody Rhodes

It was the Raw after Hell in a Cell when Cody Rhodes beat Seth “Freakin” Rollins while working the match with a torn pectoral muscle. After Cody did a promo with Rollins, Cody was near the entrance area about to go backstage and that’s when Rollins attacked from behind with a sledgehammer to the back. Rollins would go on to rip Cody’s shirt off to expose the bruising on the right arm/shoulder and Rollins used the sledgehammer to attack Cody’s arm/shoulder more. It was on June 6th.

3. RK-Bro Win The Raw Tag Team Titles

This was a triple threat match for the Raw Tag Team Titles with Alpha Academy defending the gold against RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) and Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens. The finish was really well done with Gable going for a moonsault, but Randy Orton caught him with an RKO out of the air. Shortly after that, Rollins hit Gable with The Stomp and Riddle covered Gable for the pinfall win. RK-Bro were the new Raw Tag Team Champions. It was an awesome match on March 7th. As I read about it in my review, they went 27 minutes. That’s one of the longest TV matches of the year.

2. Braun Strowman Returns

It was a return that was rumored for several weeks leading up to the September 5th edition of Raw on Labor Day. There was a Fatal 4-Way tag team match taking place when Strowman’s familiar music hit and he destroyed everybody in his path while announcer Corey Graves was freaking out about it. The pop for Strowman’s return was pretty huge. I thought it was really well done. Even though his return was on Raw, Strowman has become a force on Smackdown.

1. Kevin Owens Imitates “Stone Cold”

On the road to WrestleMania, Kevin Owens did all he could to get “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to appear at WrestleMania on the Kevin Owens Show talk show. On the March 21st episode of Raw, Owens would go on to dress like Austin in an Austin 3:16 shirt along with a bald scalp on his head. Owens even had Austin’s black knee braces and jean shorts to complete the look. Owens invited a guy to give him a beer, which led to Owens giving the poor guy a Stunner along with some Stone Cold-style trash-talking. It was a good imitation by KO.

Final Thoughts

I feel like it was a pretty good list other than the 24/7 Title comedy bit. That’s the kind of thing that I don’t want to remember from Raw, but I think the rest of the choices were pretty solid. I might have changed the order around a bit, but for the most part, I liked it. No major complaints from me.
