WWE’s Future Sale To Saudi Arabia Allegedly Confirmed By Insiders

Triple H Saudi Arabia WWE

TKO’s long-term plan is to sell WWE to Saudi Arabia.

A few months ago, former WWE star Stevie Richards, on his YouTube podcast, argued that the Stamford-based company is prepping for sale by cutting salaries, trimming staff, raising ticket prices, and maximizing profits like gates and merch sales to inflate value for the Saudi Arabia sale.

Now, Vince Russo on The Brand podcast has claimed that WWE insiders told him the plan to sell the Stamford-based company to Saudi Arabia is already in motion.

Now I’m starting to hear things on my end that there is no question, and the plan is already in place that they’re going to sell this company to the Saudis. I am hearing very, very, very strongly from people on the inside. (From 4:45)

WWE On The Verge Of Sale To Saudi Arabia

On the latest episode of the Coach and Bro show, Jonathan Coachman revealed that the potential sale is already being discussed backstage in WWE.

I get a call, and I’ve been told that our narrative [of Saudi Arabia buying WWE] that we’ve been preaching for six months to a year has started to become a topic of conversation, and that a lot of people agree with us.

The whole purpose of having the Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia in January—which is now this month—is a test. A test to see how Saudi Arabia addresses, holds PLEs, and things of that nature.

Then, in 15 months, when WrestleMania goes to the same country, that would be the ideal time [for the takeover]. It’s not only becoming a topic that you and I talk about, but it’s actually being talked about backstage in the WWE.

Coachman also said that Saudi Arabia may pay $15 to $20 billion to acquire WWE if the deal goes through.
