WWE Star Suffering From Serious Injury

After one WWE storyline was mysteriously dropped, it now seems the reason behind the decision is one star is currently seriously injured.

WWE quietly abandoned the ongoing NXT storyline between Arianna Grace and Gigi Dolin that had been running in recent weeks. Dolin has not competed since losing to Grace in March allowing Miss NXT to give the former Toxic Attraction star a makeover. Two vignettes aired of that process but they haven’t appeared on TV together since.

Fightful Select has now reported that Gigi Dolin is said to be suffering from a serious knee injury which led to the storyline being dropped. Dolin was recently seen sporting a knee brace as she recovered from her issue which there are no further details on.

The report noted there had been main roster discussions about Gigi Dolin but the star has not been at any TV tapings for some time. The storyline with Grace was believed to be an avenue to keep her on television as she recovers but this will now not be the case.

WWE NXT Women’s Division Remains Strong In Gigi Dolin’s Absence

At NXT Battleground, TNA’s Jordynne Grace failed to dethrone Roxanne Perez as NXT Women’s Champion. Another TNA star made an appearance during that match stopping Tatum Paxley from making off with Grace’s TNA Knockouts Title belt.

Battleground also saw one of NXT’s female stars become the inaugural champion of a brand new title introduced by WWE.
