WWE Saving Money With Big PLE Change

Triple H WWE cash

WWE has made plenty of changes over the past year and it seems one change in presentation is saving the company plenty of money.

Following the Endeavor takeover of WWE in 2023, the company has embarked several major changes. TV rights have been the major talk of recent months with Raw heading to Netflix in early 2025 as part of a $5 billion deal with SmackDown heading to the USA Network and NXT moving to the CW Network.

There have been changes to premium live events as well with more international shows taking place as WWE is open to the highest bidder. With Triple H in charge of creative, it also seems there has been a very deliberate change to WWE’s non-big 5 shows as they have been restricted to just five matches in recent months and it seems that change is making a difference to the company’s bottom line.

5 Match Shows Save WWE Money

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has noted that not all WWE stars are brought to premium live events given the shorter nature of their cards and this has saved the company plenty of money in travel costs.

It was also noted that the increase in skits and the inclusion of legends and WWE Hall of Famers on the show will be the norm moving forward. WWE is said to hand out packets to some younger members of the roster to educate them about some of those icons present at the show.

One WWE Hall of Famer has revealed they’ve signed a new deal with the company after they appeared at Bad Blood in Atlanta, Georgia.
