WWE NXT Takeover WarGames 2020 Results
This is a results post for NXT Takeover WarGames. The more detailed “The John Report” will be up as a separate post on Monday morning (you can read it here). We do it this way because some people just want to be able to look at the results, so here’s a way to do that. There was no Kickoff Show match.
Women’s WarGames Match: Team Candice (Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, and Toni Storm) defeated Team Shotzi (Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley, and Io Shirai) when Gonzalez pinned Shirai after slamming her through a ladder. The match went 35:22.
NXT boss man Triple H loved it.

Tommaso Ciampa defeated Timothy Thatcher. Ciampa won with the Willow’s Bell DDT in a match that went 16:46.
Strap Match: Dexter Lumis defeated Cameron Grimes by submission at 12:52.
NXT North American Championship: Johnny Gargano defeated Leon Ruff and Damian Priest to win the title at 17:28.
Priest was attacked by a Ghostface masked figure that hit Priest with a lead pipe and Gargano hit the One Final Beat DDT on Ruff. After the match, one of the Ghostface people was revealed to be Austin Theory. Theory “quit” NXT several weeks ago, so now he’s back with Gargano.
Men’s WarGames Match: The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish) defeated Team McAfee (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch). O’Reilly pinned Lorcan to win the match for his team at 45:01.
WOW. Just unbelievable. Congratulations to EVERYONE in this #WarGames match. #WeAreNXT#NXTTakeOverhttps://t.co/eITU8GnS3b
