WWE Introduces New John Cena Title Belt

John Cena on WWE SmackDown

A new John Cena Belt is available on the WWE shop.

WWE is launching its highly anticipated international tour, beginning Friday, August 22, 2025, at Dublin’s iconic 3Arena. This historic show marks the company’s first-ever televised SmackDown event in Ireland, followed by stops in Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, and on to France for Clash in Paris on August 31.

The 17-time World Champion is set to make his final Irish appearance as part of his farewell run, joined by superstars like Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton, and more.

Alongside its tour preparations, WWE has unveiled a new John Cena Championship belt for fans: a unique Dublin Championship Spinner belt, a collector’s item that mirrors Cena’s famous Spinner design.

Modeled after the original “Spinner Belt” introduced in 2005, the Dublin edition bears distinctive Irish-themed metallic accents and commemorates Cena’s legacy on his farewell tour. The belt retails for $599.99 via WWE’s official shop.

John Cena Admits Heel Promo Failure

John Cena’s heel turn began at Elimination Chamber in Toronto, where he attacked Cody Rhodes and captured his 17th world title. Yet the shift in character was polarizing; fans struggled to accept the new persona, particularly as the absence of The Rock and the forced involvement of rapper Travis Scott complicated the storyline.

Cena’s first heel promo, which he delivered on the 03/17 edition of Monday Night RAW, felt flat and inauthentic to his audience, leading him to reflect publicly about learning from mistakes. At Fan Expo Chicago, he addressed his controversial heel run, opening up about his first heel promo’s negative reception.

“I wasn’t upset. No, I failed. Ain’t nothing wrong with that. You can learn from failure, right? I went up there and bombed. Sh*t happens. I’ve changed a lot over the years. I’m not the same person I was yesterday.”

John Cena’s legendary career reached a major milestone at SummerSlam 2025, where he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at MetLife Stadium. The Never Seen 17 will face Logan Paul at Clash in Paris next as a part of his retirement tour.
