Ex-WWE Champion Confirms End Of Wrestling Career At 35
A former WWE champion is officially done with their wrestling career.
WWE released former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose on December 14, 2022, just one day after her historic 413-day reign with the title came to an end.
It was revealed that her release stemmed from a contract violation related to explicit content she had posted on her FanTime subscription page. WWE reportedly viewed this as a breach of contract, resulting in her sudden departure from the company without prior warning.
Following her exit, Rose transitioned into a full-time entrepreneur and digital content creator. She later revealed that her earnings in this new venture far surpassed what she had made during her professional wrestling career.
Ex-WWE Star Mandy Rose Says Her Wrestling Career Is Over
Appearing on Episode 39 of Prince St. Pizza, the 35-year-old female star confirmed that her WWE release effectively marked the end of her wrestling career.
While she admitted she did not expect her wrestling journey to conclude so abruptly, Rose expressed gratitude for her time in the company and the opportunities it provided.
It was the end of my career, which is kind of like, you know, I kind of like went out on top, which I always wanted to, but I didn’t suspect that my career was ending.
It was just something that happened, and it ended, but like I said, I was grateful that I had that run because it really increased my equity in the company like 10 fold. (From 12:12)
