Why WWE Fans Believe It’s Andrade In The New Cryptic Video
On Sunday, WWE dropped a cryptic video on its social media pages, signaling the return of one of its stars.
It only showed the feet of a mystery figure, wearing dress shoes and slacks as they walked towards the camera.
The video speedily gained traction, as fans guessed by naming a host of superstars, one of whom was Andrade El Idolo.
Andrade had left WWE on September 13, after which it was revealed that the company was unhappy over multiple disciplinary issues by him.
Amid a new report surfacing every week, El Idolo made his AEW return on October 1 by attacking Kenny Omega during the Dynamite taping.
However, soon after, he disappeared from the promotion’s shows, with media houses claiming that WWE had issued a notice to Andrade and AEW, citing breach of a non-compete clause.
While the non-compete clause prevents him from wrestling elsewhere, it can also result in his surprise return to the Stamford promotion.
Apart from Andrade, other names guessed by fans included Gunther and Santos Escobar. Meanwhile, a report suggests that Escobar is scheduled for an appearance on the October 27 RAW taping.
Did Andrade Tease His WWE Return?
Around 12 hours before WWE dropped its cryptic video, Andrade posted something on X, which became a talking point afterward.

While fans can only speculate what El Idolo’s tweet means, WWE also added to the confusion.
Whether or not Andrade referred to the Stamford promotion in any way, time will reveal who the wrestler in the video is.
