Shawn Michaels In Backstage Incident With Dominik Mysterio (VIDEO)
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley showed exactly what they thought of Shawn Michaels at the Great American Bash.
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley have no respect for anyone but themselves and they seem to be getting away with it as both stars have the gold to back it up.
At the Great American Bash, the Women’s World Champion was again making a nuisance of herself as Dominik Mysterio put his North American Title on the line against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali. As has become the custom in his matches, Rhea Ripley’s interference proved vital as Mysterio escaped with his title.
After the show, NXT boss Shawn Michaels was seen backstage offering his hand to Mysterio but received the brush off from both the North American Champion and Ripley before telling Mysterio:
“Your daddy should’ve spanked your ass when you were a kid.”

What happened on a packed night for Shawn Michaels and NXT at the Great American Bash?
Shawn Michaels took the NXT brand back on the road to Cedar Park, Texas for the Great American Bash and it was a good night for most of the champions on the brand.
Carmelo Hayes survived the might of Ilja Dragunov to escape with his NXT Championship intact while Thea Hail had the towel thrown in for her by Andre Chase as she refused to quit to NXT Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton.
It was a different story for Gallus, however, as they lost their NXT Tag Team Championship to Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo providing some redemption for The Don.
Elsewhere on the card Roxanne Perez picked up a win over Blair Davenport in a Weapons Wild match and the bout between Gable Steveson and Baron Corbin ended in controversy as both men brawled to the floor.
