Roman Reigns Allegedly Upset With Triple H’s WWE Creative Work

According to a WWE veteran, Roman Reigns is really upset with WWE Chief Creative Officer Triple H.

The Original Tribal Chief appeared on The Pat McAfee Show ahead of the WWE Royal Rumble, where he stated that he stepped away from WWE after losing his title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in order to give younger talent time to shine and get over.

However, Reigns criticized that WWE failed to advance and evolve in his absence and did not succeed in creating new stars.

And the way I look at it is I’m a generous Tribal Chief. I give the people plenty of time. These young talents, get over kids. Get over. You know what I mean? And we’re two years here now, and we haven’t advanced. We haven’t evolved. You know what I mean?

Many fans believe that Reigns’ comments and his criticism of Triple H and WWE’s creative direction were simply part of his character work. That may not be the case, though.

Roman Reigns Is Genuinely Unhappy With Triple H

WWE veteran Tommy Carlucci believes that Roman Reigns’ comments were not just a gimmick, but reflected how Reigns genuinely feels about WWE and Triple H in real life. Big Tommy C said on the Coach and Bro Show:

“I think Roman Reigns speaks from the heart, and we’ve all seen it. How many big-time stars have they built in the past two years from the Cody [Rhodes] and Roman days of going at it? I mean, after Drew McIntyre, who have you built?” Carlucci said.
