Paul Heyman’s Status Ahead Of WWE Clash At The Castle Revealed

Despite not appearing on WWE programming for many months, there is plenty of speculation that Paul Heyman is in Cardiff and may return at Clash At The Castle.

Paul Heyman hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since SummerSlam 2022. Having played both sides at points during the rivalry between Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ took out his frustration with his former manager when he hit an F5 through a table.

With Heyman not an active competitor, he has taken the time away from the screens to sell the injury – being a manager rather than a wrestling, it would take him a much more extended period to recover from the injuries caused.

However, some new information from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer newsletter hints that the mastermind to the stars could return in Wales this weekend. According to the report, Paul Heyman is in the United Kingdom and has been included in the photography schedule for the event.

Paul Heyman is listed in the promo photos for the main event as being with [Roman] Reigns and he is in Cardiff but as of this point he’s still selling the injury from the Brock Lesnar match as far as appearing on television.

Aside from the period at the side of Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman has been aligned with ‘The Head Of The Table’ since August 2020, acting as special counsel on Reigns’ run to over 700 days as the title holder. Their alliance was cemented when Heyman cost Lesnar his title opportunity at the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley at the 2022 Royal Rumble.
