A social media war of words between Kevin Nash and current star Will Ospreay has led to some interesting comments between the two men.

Will Ospreay has had an incredible year inside the ring working for NJPW, AEW and some other promotions as well. Ospreay recently lost the G1 Climax finals to Kazuchika Okada in what was regarded as an incredible match. Ospreay’s the current IWGP United States Champion that has been praised heavily, especially by the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, who has rated four Ospreay matches at the five-star (or above) level in the month of August alone.

One of Ospreay’s recent five-star performances (according to Meltzer) was the AEW Dynamite six-man tag team main event on August 24th.

When a wrestling Twitter account called WrestlingBanana mentioned Ospreay’s five-star match success, they mentioned that Ospreay has five-star matches (once again, this is only according to Meltzer) than CM Punk, John Cena & Kurt Angle. Those three men have three five-star matches according to Meltzer. In fact, Angle has zero five-star matches in Meltzer’s ratings.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer Nash saw the tweet and posed a simple question about merchandise sales.

Ospreay saw that tweet from Nash obviously and decided to make a snide remark about a famous injury that Nash suffered on WWE Raw about two decades ago.

In addition to that remark, Ospreay had a laugh about it.

AEW’s Kenny Omega also commented with a reply about Ospreay’s merchandise sales.

Ospreay and Omega have had an ongoing, worked feud for several months now. They’ll be in the same ring this coming Wednesday on Dynamite when Ospreay teams with Aussie Open against Omega & The Young Bucks in the AEW Trios Tag Team Title Tournament.
