Jade Cargill Says WWE Rival Has Been Her Inspiration

Jade Cargill WWE entrance

WWE star Jade Cargill is still looking to learn.

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair found themselves teaming together for much of 2024, but that came to a shuddering halt in November.

On an episode of SmackDown ahead of Survivor Series, Cargill was taken out of action by an unknown rival and disappeared for several months. The star wouldn’t return until Elimination Chamber the following March, where she attacked Naomi. On the subsequent episode of SmackDown, Naomi confirmed that she was the one who had tried to take out Cargill.

Jade Cargill eventually revealed that she was dealing with a neck injury, and that’s why she was written off television.

This led to a series of matches between the pair, with Cargill winning at WrestleMania 41 and later Evolution.

However, in the Evolution main event, Naomi cashed in her Money In The Bank contract to win the Women’s World Championship.

Jade Cargill Taking Inspiration From Naomi

During an appearance on the Rap On Wrestling podcast, Cargill gave fans an insight into her real-life relationship with Naomi, sharing her admiration for her in-ring rival.

“Oh, it’s so inspiring. I think Naomi gets it. She just gets it, and to see her shed new skin that no one ever seen before and she was ready to unlock, it’s inspiring. The fact that she still loves this business after being in it for so long, because it can become taxing and it can become so, so much, right?

But she strapped up her boots and she’s still pushing it, and she’s still in love with it. I’m hoping she inspires me to keep on pushing, strap up my boots and keep pushing when it’s time, when things get hard as well.”

In recent days, Naomi has become the subject of a huge amount of speculation after she was pulled from the August 10 edition of Monday Night Raw. On the show, she’d been scheduled to defend her Women’s World Title against Iyo Sky.

According to one report, Naomi could be out for a “long, long time,” although details on her status remain thin on the ground.
