Ex-Champion “Angry” After Losing WWE Title, Chelsea Green Responds

WWE star Chelsea Green

The latest WWE SmackDown episode witnessed a title change.

After last week’s altercation between the two superstars, a Women’s United States Championship match was finalized between Giulia and Chelsea Green.

With both wrestlers having someone to accompany them to the ringside, the match was not a smooth-sailing affair.

It saw interference from both Kiana James and Alba Fyre, the latter’s involvement causing just enough distraction to allow Green to get a pinfall.

However, it was not a clean pinfall either, as the 34-year-old star put her feet on the ropes, and the referee missed it and counted three.

Chelsea Green, thus, became the first two-time Women’s US Champion. She immediately scrambled out of the ring and jumped over the barricade, where the NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page, was to cheer her on.

The two Canadians and Fyre celebrated, with Page lifting the newly-crowned champion on his shoulder.

After her WWE title loss, Giulia took to X to vent, posting:

I’m angry at myself, Chelsea…….at EVERYTHING.

That’s real funny dumbass. Just watch.

I’m going tear it all apart.

WWE Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green Rubs Salt On Giulia’s Wounds

With her reclaiming the WWE Women’s United States title, Chelsea Green has turned her week around.

On Sunday, Green and Ethan Page won the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship and were in a celebratory mood, with a main event segment allotted to them on NXT.

But their segment on Tuesday was interrupted by Joe Hendry and Thea Hail, who humiliated the champions by smashing cakes in their faces.

While that rivalry awaits an official match, Green’s X war with Giulia continues.

She responded to Giulia’s initial tweet, outright rubbing salt on her wounds.
