Breaking: New Champion Crowned On WWE SmackDown!

A major championship has shockingly changed hands on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

Chelsea Green held the Women’s United States Championship for 131 days before dropping the title to Zelina Vega on SmackDown last April. She has since been vocal about her desire to win back the title.

Although she failed to recapture the championship from Zelina last May at Saturday Night’s Main Event, she received another chance tonight on SmackDown as she went head-to-head with the third-ever Women’s United States Champion, Guilia.

The match saw Kiana James interfere before Alba Fyre took her out. When Guilia kicked Fyre in the head, Green took advantage of the distraction and rolled her up and put her feet on the rope for the pin to become a two-time Women’s United States Champion.

Chelsea Green Becomes A Double Champion In WWE

Just a few days before her Women’s United States Championship win, Chelsea Green captured another title. She teamed up with the NXT North American Champion Ethan Page to defeat La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Titles.

Page was present tonight on SmackDown and celebrated with his tag team partner following her victory over Guilia.
