Cody Rhodes Invites NFL Legend Tom Brady To WrestleMania 39

Following his retirement from the NFL, Tom Brady has been given an open invitation to WWE by 2023 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes.

Tom Brady had a glittering NFL career. Having come out of his short-lived retirement to play one more season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the seven-time Super Bowl winner finally called time on his career on 1st February 2023.

Now, the legendary quarterback has been given an invite to make the switch from football to wrestling, as ‘The American Nightmare’ has made it clear he would be welcome.

Having won the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble by lastly eliminating first entrant Gunther, Cody Rhodes made an appearance on The Bump where he discussed Tom Brady being his favorite player in the NFL, and making it clear that now he’s cleared his scheduled he should be looking to make it to WrestleMania.

Upon arriving here this morning, I was very shocked to see that [Brady retiring], not shocked as well. Time comes for us all. Tom Brady needs to maybe find his way to WrestleMania, maybe find his way anywhere WWE, just Tom, live it up now. There might be a future here.

Having made his return from injury to win the Rumble, Rhodes will now go on to challenge Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the Championship at WrestleMania 39, which takes place April 1st and 2nd at SoFi Stadium
