CM Punk has addressed speculation that he will appear at WWE Survivor Series in Chicago.

The last time Punk appeared at a wrestling event was at AEW All In back in August. At the event, the star got into a backstage altercation with Jack Perry. After the incident, the Second City Saint defeated Samoa Joe in a match that proved to be his last in the company, as he was later fired “with cause.”

In the weeks since, there has been speculation on what Punk will do next, with WWE being the focus of many reports. The latest update seemed to quash any thoughts of the two-time WWE Champion making a return to the company, with them seemingly having turned him down.

“I think it’s sold out. I think tickets are hard to get.” – CM Punk on attending Survivor Series

During an appearance on 670 The Score, CM Punk was asked if he would be at Survivor Series, which takes place in his home city of Chicago. He joked that he had heard the event was sold out, so it would be hard to get a ticket.

“They’re asking if I’m going to be there? I think it’s sold out. I think tickets are hard to get.”

Continuing, though, Punk made it clear that his only priority right now is his dog, Larry, who has unfortunately suffered a common wrestling injury with a torn ACL.

“I don’t want to burst anybody’s bubble. I’m kind of just sitting at home and enjoying this beautiful Chicago weather. I have an injury in the family. My dog [Larry] blew his dog ACL. I’m literally just spending my time with him.

Punk says it would be “tough” to leave his wife, AJ Lee, to take care of Larry alone, and he has even canceled upcoming engagements so that he can stay home.

“I know that sounds crazy, but he is my son, and I take care of him and treat him as such. Everything has kind of stopped. I’m fortunate to take time off from everything. I’ve canceled things I have coming up. Traveling is hard. It’s tough to leave him here with my wife April [AJ Lee]. If there are two of us here taking care of him, it’s easier.”

While WWE appears to be off the table for now, Punk has also received offers from the NWA and IMPACT, where he recently made an appearance backstage.
