Brock Lesnar Viciously Turns On Cody Rhodes On WWE Raw

At WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes was expected to dethrone Roman Reigns as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion but Rhodes didn’t finish his story.

In the main event of WrestleMania 39, it took Solo Sikoa’s vicious Samoan Spike to give Reigns enough space to hit The American Nightmare with a Spear and win his third WrestleMania main event in a row.

On Monday Night Raw, Reigns, Sikoa, and Paul Heyman made their way to the ring to revel in The Tribal Chief’s victory but Cody Rhodes was on hand to interrupt. After asking for a rematch on the show and being turned down, Rhodes suggested a tag team match with Roman Reigns and his enforcer.

Paul Heyman laid down two stipulations for such a match, Rhodes’ partner must have competed over WrestleMania weekend and the person who joined Rhodes would never be able to challenge Reigns for his championships, severely limiting the field. However, The Wise Man didn’t factor in Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar is already barred from challenging Reigns after losing to him at SummerSlam in 2022 and he marched to the ring with a smile on his face and embraced Cody Rhodes. In hindsight, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically.

Reigns and Sikoa came to the ring for the main event followed by Rhodes and Lesnar but before the match could start, The Beast Incarnate took out Rhodes with an F-5 before going on to decimate him with a steel chair while The Bloodline crept away quietly.
