BREAKING: John Cena Announces WWE Return
John Cena has shocked the entire world with a massive WWE announcement.
The Cenation Leader ended his in-ring career against Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, 2025. Despite fans wanting to see him wrestle more, Cena has remained adamant about staying retired for good.
However, one surprising John Cena move will please the WWE Universe.
John Cena will be present at WWE WrestleMania 42
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Cena stated that he is currently filming a movie for Netflix, One Attempt Remaining. He followed up by speaking about WrestleMania 42 and how it needs a host.
The Franchise Player then made the blockbuster announcement that he will return to WWE as the host of The Show of Shows this year.
“Ah, retired life in the sun. I’m kidding! Check out the backdrop. I’m shooting a movie for Netflix called One Attempt Remaining that you can see when it comes out. I’m also on the road…which is ironic because there’s a Road to WrestleMania going on and Hollywood is really close to [Las] Vegas. Rumor around this town is, WrestleMania needs a host. Well, I’m already on that road. So, I will C-U at WrestleMania,” said John Cena.
