Bandido Agrees To Deal With AEW

Former Ring of Honor World Champion Bandido has agreed to a deal with AEW according to a new report, one week after making his debut for the company.

Bandido debuted for All Elite Wrestling on the 28th of September edition of Dynamite in Philadelphia where he challenged ‘The Ocho’ Chris Jericho for the ROH World Title. As ever, the Mexican star was impressive in his outing but failed to defeat Jericho who has vowed to take out everyone ever associated with Ring of Honor.

Fightful Select has now reported that sources close to Bandido say that he has agreed to a deal to join the AEW roster although this is yet to be confirmed by the company.

The report adds that many were impressed by the 27-year-old’s attitude especially given that he was booked for the Chris Jericho bout at short notice and had some difficulty getting gear together for the match as a result.

The Mexican star won the ROH World Title in July 2021 from RUSH but after he had to miss a defence of his title due to COVID-19, Jonathan Gresham laid claim to the championship. The two men met in a clash on the first ROH show in the Tony Khan era of the company with Gresham winning to become Undisputed ROH World Champion.
