AJ Styles’ Ex-WWE Rival Answers Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania Challenge

Brock Lesnar laid out an open challenge for WrestleMania 42.

Paul Heyman issued the challenge on Lesnar’s behalf on the February 23 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. So far, no one has officially stepped into the ring on television to accept it.

However, a few names have hinted that they would like to face The Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania. Former WCW star Big Vito is one of them, as he has expressed interest in facing Lesnar on the grandest stage of them all. Oba Femi also wants to lock horns with Lesnar.

Now, AJ Styles’ former WWE rival James Ellsworth has also expressed interest in fighting The Beast at WrestleMania.

Ellsworth is a former WWE star who worked with the company for a couple of years. His most notable storyline was with the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame inductee, AJ Styles. The duo had an interesting feud on SmackDown, which also saw the involvement of Dean Ambrose.

Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania 42 Opponent Not Finalized Yet

According to a recent report from WrestleVotes Radio, WWE has not yet finalized Brock Lesnar’s opponent for WrestleMania 42. The company is still discussing multiple possibilities behind the scenes.
