Adam Pearce Scoffs At “Dopes” Claiming WWE Star Was Shot

Adam Pearce has praised the recovery powers of Chad Gable whilst taking aim at fans who claimed he had been shot during a recent WWE angle.

Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Pearce has has held an on-screen authority role on WWE television since January 2020, eventually being awarded with a promotion to Raw General Manager by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H on 13th October 2023.

The change is structure also saw another former NWA star, Nick Aldis, installed as General Manager of SmackDown.

In challenging circumstances, Pearce has managed to maintain a semblance of order on the WWE’s flagship show but that is set to be tested after the devastating debut of the Wyatt Sicks on the 17th June edition of Raw.

At the shows conclusion, the mysterious group led by the ominous Uncle Howdy laid waste to the famed backstage area known as the Gorilla position and left a number of WWE staff members motionless on the ground following a vicious attack.

Amongst those shown as injured backstage was former WWE Intercontinental Championship contender Chad Gable, with fans online suggested the Alpha Academy star may have been shot given the seriousness of his head wound.

Pearce took to social media recently, however, to scoff at those suggestions and confirmed that Gable had now been cleared to compete once again:

“@WWEGablebeing medically cleared after last Monday is a testament to his tenacity and fortitude, despite the many, MANY dopes illogically saying he was “shot in the head”. #dumb”

Adam Pearce Could Be Set For Huge Announce Booth Decision

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce could be faced with another big decision in the near future with the Wyatt Sicks rumoured to be targeting announcer Pat McAfee.

Pearce could be forced to find a new colour commentator on Monday night’s after the announcer’s popular programme ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ was interrupted twice in suspicious circumstances in recent days.
