News: Jack Gallagher Released by WWE Following Sexual Assault Allegations Made Against Him

Jack Gallagher, who has been a part of WWE since the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic tournament, has been released by WWE. That news initially came from PWInsider, who reports that Gallagher was released after allegations yesterday that he was involved sexually assaulting a woman.

WWE issued the following statement on their website: “WWE has come to terms on the release of Jack Gallagher (Jack Claffey).”

You can read some of the claims made against Gallagher here. Another woman claims that Gallagher raped her friend.

It’s not known if WWE fired Gallagher because they believe the accusations, he admitted to it or what the reason might be. You will notice they did not put in their “all the best in future endeavors” line in this case.

TJR Thoughts: If Gallagher did what is alleged here then he has serious problems and he has to apologize for his actions as well as seek help for what he did to these innocent women.
