WWE Star Tells Cody Rhodes His Story Is Over

Cody Rhodes holding Undisputed WWE Championship

Ahead of his title defence at WWE King & Queen of the Ring, Logan Paul has told Cody Rhodes his story is already over.

At WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes finished his two-year odyssey when he defeated Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship. With one story complete, Rhodes began his next chapter with a successful title defence against AJ Styles at Backlash in France. However, if Paul gets his way, that will be the only title challenge The American Nightmare will overcome.

Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, the United States Champion explained that Rhodes’ story was over, and his was only beginning.

“My story’s not even begun yet. Cody’s story, it’s great. It’s highly captivating. The thing about Cody’s story, though, is it’s over. Am I wrong?

“Cody said ‘finish the story,’ he finished his story. Congratulations, you won. He’s been an excellent champion, and he will always be remembered as an excellent champion for about two months.”

Paul went on to proclaim he will be a “forever champion” after he defeats Rhodes.

“That’s where I come in. I am a forever champion. I will be a forever champion for the rest of my life. My last name is Paul, there’s two of them. One’s gonna beat Mike Tyson, the other’s gonna beat Cody Rhodes. You will not be able to talk about combat sports without hearing the last name Paul.”
