The King of the Ring kicked off on Raw but it seems for one WWE star, their involvement in the tournament could have pushed them over the edge.

Before Raw went live in Hartford, WWE revealed Drew McIntyre had been pulled from the King of the Ring tournament due to injury. As a result, Jey Uso took his place and defeated Finn Balor to progress to the quarter-finals.

In the other tournament matches on the show, Gunther defeated Sheamus and Raw newcomer Ilja Dragunov saw off the challenge of Ricochet. And it seems that loss has been one too many for the high-flying star.

Ricochet Asks “Who Gives A Sh*t” After WWE Raw Loss

Taking to social media after a tough loss, Ricochet hinted that a change in direction could be coming for him in the future in a video where he cut a frustrated figure accompanied with the caption “Honestly, who gives a shit anymore”:

Here we find ourselves in a very familiar spot. It seems no matter what I do – I can train, I can challenge myself, I can give everything I’ve got, but it seems that it’s never enough.

It’s never enough. Not when it counts. It’s never enough. So I find myself in this position, almost every… Almost every week, I find myself in this position. Something’s gotta change.

Ricochet has had reason to celebrate in WWE recently despite his less-than-sunny disposition. Ricochet recently made history as he captured the brand new WWE Speed Championship with a win over Johnny Gargano.
