WWE Star Calls Out Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury WWE

A current champion in WWE has Tyson Fury on their mind.

Tyson Fury is not a stranger to the WWE Universe. The outgoing World Champion boxer known as the “Gypsy King” defeated Braun Strowman by countout at the 2019 WWE Crown Jewel PLE. Fury also teamed up with Strowman soon after in a Smackdown match.

At the Clash at the 2022 event in Wales, Fury was ringside to watch a show headlined by Drew McIntyre challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. It was a match where a lot of fans wanted Drew to win and many people thought he would win, but Solo Sikoa’s interference cost Drew the match.

It was also an eventful night for Fury since he punched Money in the Bank briefcase holder Austin Theory in the face to prevent a cash-in during the match. After Drew lost, Fury went into the ring to cheer him up and that led to an awkward singing moment as well.

Austin Theory Hasn’t Forgotten About Tyson Fury

In an interview with Bodyslam.net and Irish Wrestling & Entertainment’s Mark O’Brien, WWE Tag Team Champion Austin Theory called out Fury while speaking about the June Clash at the Castle PLE on June 15th in Glasgow, Scotland.

“You know, when I hear Clash of the Castle, I only think of one person, and that is Tyson Fury. Unfortunately, last time I was there, he sucker punched me. Unfortunately, last time I was there, he cost me becoming the WWE Champion. I would have already been the WWE champion if it wasn’t for Tyson Fury. So when I think of Clash of the Castle, I think that Tyson Fury should show up. I think Austin Theory’s gonna show up because I’m everywhere with the WWE. I’m always there, I’m always on the grind.”

“But Tyson, if you feel like putting those donuts down, you wanna step up, come stand beside a real man, a man with so many abs that you wish you just had one, show up to Clash of the Castle. That’s all I wanna talk about when it comes to Clash of the Castle. So let’s see what happens, cause I’ll be there, I’ll be a champion. Tyson Fury will. Hopefully he’s in shape.”

It’s not yet known if Tyson Fury will appear at the 2024 Clash at the Castle, but the popular boxer could be there to try to stop Theory from running his mouth again.
