Tony Khan Breaks Silence After AEW Return

Tony Khan AEW

Tony Khan has given his first comment after making his return to AEW for the first time since being brutally attacked by The Elite.

Several weeks ago, Jack Perry was reinstated onto the AEW roster after his suspension for his part in the backstage altercation with CM Punk at All In. Perry shook Tony Khan’s hand to seal the deal but then nailed the AEW boss with a microphone before the rest of The Elite rushed to the ring.

However, rather than talk sense into Perry, The Young Bucks dropped Tony Khan with a TK Driver leading to him apparently missing TV for several weeks.

In the meantime, fellow EVP Kenny Omega made a huge Anarchy In The Arena match between Team AEW and The Elite at Double Or Nothing. Originally, AEW’s team comprised Bryan Danielson, FTR, and Eddie Kingston, but a serious leg injury to Kingston took him out of the bout and he will be replaced by Darby Allin.

On Dynamite in Bakersfield, Allin was banned from the building by The Young Bucks but with Bryan Danielson being taken apart by The Elite near the end of the show, Allin was surprisingly driven to the arena by Tony Khan. Darby Allin emerged to chase The Elite off with an actual flamethrower.

Tony Khan Confirms He Has A Driver’s License

Taking to social media, Tony Khan confirmed the ban on Darby Allin had officially been lifted as he also took the time to wish Bryan Danielson a happy birthday:

The ban has been lifted @DarbyAllin! #AEWDynamite Happy Birthday @bryandanielson! Team AEW vs The Elite This Sunday at #AEWDoN

Khan also confirmed that he has a valid driver’s licence after his cameo appearance as Darby Allin’s chauffeur on the show:

Yes I do have a valid driver’s license! #AEWDynamite on TBS
