Released WWE Name Reveals New Work With AEW

Triple H WWE

One name no longer working with WWE has not wasted any time in getting back into the wrestling business after producing work for AEW.

The changes continue to ring in WWE following the company’s takeover by Endeavor. WWE’s Head of Talent Relations was recently let go amid reports that they weren’t universally popular with the talent in the company. More shockingly perhaps, former Warrior Award winner Sue Aitchison was also let go ending her nearly four-decade stint with WWE.

The cuts also made their way to the WWE roster with Cameron Grimes announcing his exit from the company days after a handful of other WWE stars had been let go.

Artist Rob Schamberger took to social media to also reveal his time with WWE had come to an end after he had spent a decade producing pieces for the company and hosting their Canvas 2 Canvas show:

After over a decade, my time with WWE has come to a close. I’m grateful that I had the opportunity over this period of time to focus on making art and I’m so lucky that doing so has brought so many wonderful people into my life. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some of the smartest and most capable people in their fields that I’ve ever met. Real friendships, people that I truly love, have been the result of this experience. And it brought you, the person reading this, into my life. How amazing is that?

If you ever bought my art, if you ever came up to say hello at a show, if you ever just gave me a thumbs up on social media, thank you. Thank you for allowing my work into your life.

This chapter has come to a close and a new one is about to begin that I’m genuinely excited about. The work never stops.

Love you more, Rob

Ex-WWE Artist Working With AEW

Now Schamberger appears to still be working in the wrestling business as a new piece by him is available to buy on the Shop AEW website. Schamberger has produced a portrait of the new AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland with only 100 prints of the work available to buy.

Swerve Strickland captured the AEW World Title for the first time in his career at Dynasty. Strickland defeated Samoa Joe for the gold in the main event of the critically acclaimed show.
