Adam Copeland Says Divisive AEW Star Is “So Much Fun To Watch”

Adam Copeland makes AEW Collision entrance

Adam Copeland has revealed his admiration for AEW veteran Chris Jericho.

Reigning FTW Champion Jericho has earnt a reputation for continually reinventing himself during a career that has spanned almost 35 years and stretched around the globe.

Most recently, Jericho revealed his latest persona, ‘The Learning Tree’, a veteran wrestler who takes pride in wanting to teach others. The new twist on Jericho’s character came after interference from Bryan Keith and Big Bill assisted him in defending the FTW Championship against Hook and Katsuyori Shibata at AEW Double Or Nothing.

Fellow Canadian star Adam Copeland is no stranger to character changes himself during a Hall Of Fame career and he believes the new incarnation of Jericho is a fun watch for fans.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Copeland heaped praise on Jericho for reinventing his character once again:

“Right now, I’m watching [Chris] Jericho, and man, he’s so much fun to watch. He’s recreated himself again. He’s leaned into what the naysayers have said, and he’s took it and run, and now he’s bringing Bryan Keith and Big Bill with him.

He’s the perfect person to bring those two guys along and get them the spotlight, get their character. Clearly, they can both do character work. Bryan Keith, he might be one of my favorite characters all of a sudden. I love it. Then here’s this seven-foot, 300-pound ripped dude being professor positive. I love it.”
