Report: WWE U.K. Show to Begin by the End of the Year

The current plan for WWE’s United Kingdom show is for it to begin by the end of the year. This is according to the latest edition of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Meltzer goes on to mention that the original plan for WWE’s weekly U.K. show was for it to begin tapings in June. However, that clearly did not fall through as it is almost September and a specific date to begin tapings has not been confirmed. There are still a lot of things that need to be worked out, especially considering the fact that the U.K. Championship Tournament was reportedly “a big money loser” according to Meltzer.

The last time WWE’s U.K. wrestlers were seen on WWE programming was last week on the edition of NXT that followed TakeOver: Brooklyn III. It was a tag team match that saw Tyler Bate and Trent Seven take on the team of Wolfgang and WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne.
