One WWE star is celebrating the one year anniversary of their return to the company.

Beginning in 2020 WWE began an ongoing process of seemingly never-ending cuts to the company’s roster that were put down to budget concerns given the global pandemic. Those cuts continued into the summer of 2022 and stopped after Vince McMahon originally retired from the company.

Following that, Triple H took control in the latter half of 2022 and began bringing some of those previously released stars back. Among those that came back were Top Dolla, Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, and B-Fab of Hit Row, minus Swerve Strickland who had joined AEW following his release.

Taking to social media, Top Dolla acknowledged that he and the rest of Hit Row are coming up on the first anniversary of their return to WWE and paid tribute to the other stars they have got the chance to work with in that time:

“Saturday will be One Year since we Returned on #SmackDownand in that year we’ve worked with the Shinsuke, Bobby Lashley, Bray, Ricochet, Sheamus, Braun, Drew, The Usos, The New Day, The Street Profits, LA, The OC, A.J. & many more great talent in the greatest company in the world… & got paid to do it. #HappyAnniversary to #HitRowAnd thank you to all our supporters!”

Who else returned to WWE after being cut?

Between Vince McMahon retiring in July 2022 and returning to WWE in January 2023, stars like Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, Candice LeRae, Johnny Gargano, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Dexter Lumis, Bronson Reed, Emma, and Bray Wyatt were among the many that rejoined the company.

Of those Bray Wyatt had the most high-profile return but after having just one match since he came back in October 2022, there are questions over his future in the company as worries about the star’s health continue.
