WWE Seizes Fan-Made Sign With Former Champion’s Name During SmackDown
The bond between wrestlers and fans often makes the stories.
The October 17 taping of SmackDown was no different when a fan in the front row showed their support for former WWE Women’s Champion Paige.
Paige, real name Saraya, was signed with the promotion from 2011 to 2022. She retired from in-ring competition in 2018 due to a neck injury and contributed in other roles.
Saraya is a two-time WWE Divas Champion and was also the inaugural NXT Women’s Champion.
In a video circulating online, the fan at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, is seen reluctantly handing over a “PAIGE COME HOME!” sign to a member of security.
As of this moment, it is truly unknown if Triple H has closed the door on her return. While the fans have banded together, requesting the promotion to bring back their former champion, the company itself has shown less interest.
Saraya, meanwhile, has taken on projects outside the squared circle, even hosting Rule Breakers, a podcast on her YouTube channel.

Saraya Reacts To Fan Sign On WWE SmackDown
In June 2022, Saraya informed the WWE Universe that she would leave the promotion when her contract ended in July.
She subsequently joined AEW in September, where she became the Women’s World Champion once.
The 33-year-old quit the company in March 2025, leading to speculations about her ultimate return to the Stamford promotion.
The ‘PAIGE COME HOME!’ sign caught Saraya’s attention, who then reposted the photo to her Instagram Stories with a message of gratitude.
You make my day. Thank you for showing so much love with these signs.
