Seth Rollins’ recent injury could be more than what meets the eye.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion reportedly suffered a shoulder injury at Crown Jewel during his match against Cody Rhodes after attempting a coast-to-coast headbutt.

He worked through the pain and not only finished the match, but also beat Rhodes to win the Crown Jewel Championship.

On the subsequent RAW episode, he was betrayed by his stablemates, as Bron Breakker took him out with a ‘Spear’ and Bronson Reed followed it up with a Tsunami.

It is now believed that Seth Rollins has been written off owing to the shoulder injury, but skepticism remains due to his antics leading up to this year’s SummerSlam.

PWInsider Elite reports that The Visionary could be looking at a shoulder or rotator cuff surgery, although no official decision has been made.

Meanwhile, a high-ranking official within the Stamford promotion confirmed that the injury is legitimate. Speculations about WWE asking him to relinquish his title have also done the rounds.

Some insiders are seeing a silver lining in the situation, as it gives the company a chance to push Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed under Paul Heyman’s guidance.

Bron Breakker Breaks Silence After Betraying Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins getting betrayed by The Vision was not what wrestling fans expected to see on Monday night.

However, WWE planted the seeds for it earlier in the night by having Rollins gloat about his Crown Jewel achievements. He went as far as saying that he did not need Breakker or Reed to be on top.

And that is what might have triggered the 27-year-old to act as he did.

Bron Breakker took to Instagram to break his silence about his attack on The Visionary.

The Vision has never been more clear🚀, he wrote.
