John Cena To Headline Wrestlepalooza In September
John Cena has 11 dates remaining in his retirement tour, and his next appearance will be on the August 22 episode of SmackDown in Dublin, Ireland.
Amid WWE’s streaming contract reports, the Stamford promotion announced a new premium live event, Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for September 20.
The said PLE will be the company’s first to air on ESPN under its recent agreement.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful stated that Brock Lesnar, who attacked Cena after the main event of SummerSlam, will possibly be his opponent.
Lesnar is also scheduled for SmackDown appearances on September 11 & 19.
Other superstars who will feature on the show include Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre.
